Kitty Cat Notebook

Hello fellow crafters! Today I've decided to do something a little different and make a notebook.  It's been awhile since I've made one and wanted to put something a little different up on my etsy shop besides cards!

This was the perfect opportunity to use this new stamp set a got by Mama Elephant "little cat agenda".  I used Hero Arts unicorn pigment ink to stamp them in and covered them with Nuvo glitter embossing powder shimmering pearl. To fill in the gaps I used the heart and little circles from Simon Says Stamps "Sketch Ranunculus". The hearts were covered in Wow! primary marshmallow embossing powder, and circles were stamped in Encore! ultimate metallic gold.

I wanted to add some interest to the back of the notebook so used the same three images on the front and lined them up in the back. I also added a touch of pink to their cheeks using prismacolor pencils.

Hello crafty friends! Today starts another new challenge over at Star Stampz "Birthdays". What a great and easy challenge with most of the cards we make being for either a birthday or christmas! Clearly Besotted - Lough out Loud (inside sentiment and images)
My Favorite Things - Boutique window
Stampendous - Vintage royal blue tinsel embossing powder
Tim Holtz - mini stencil set 3

Copics used:

Skin - E00, E11, E07

I used foam tape to lift it off the base. I also used some foam tape on the window canopy and girl to give the card some dimension.

Show off your new stuff!

Hello Crafty peeps, today starts another new challenge over at Star Stampz for the new year!  For the first challenge of this new year, we want to see your new stuff so show it off!

Today for my make I'm using one of the new images over at the Star Stampz etsy shop "Fireflies". I've decided to go with a CAS card today making her my focal point.  Since she has so much detail in her background with all the fireflies floating around her I thought it might be easier to do this in a watercolor background.  I'm also using my brand new Nuvo embossing powder I got over the holidays and haven't had a chance to play with yet!

Materials used:

Star Stampz - Fireflies
Make it Crafty - Make a wish Asha (sentiment)
Zig clean color real brush
Nuvo - shimmering pearl embossing powder
Tulip - Diamond glitter paint
Pretty Pink Posh - mini star confetti
Assorted sequins
